From San Pedro we booked a 4 x 4 tour to Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia. The Salar is the biggest Saltplain in the world and acts as the worlds biggest mirror when wet. On the way there we went to several lagoons. The green Lagoon was the first one. Its blue but at 11 AM the wind start blowing and the color changes to green. We spent the first night at Laguna Colorado at 4370 meters. Its full of flamingos. The next day was spent driving a lot. But the night spent at the Salt Hotel was awsome. It is built completly of salt. Hotel, beds, tables everything salt.
Day 3 we went to the saltplain and later to the train-cemetary. Along the way we stopped at some typical villages. It was a beatiful trip from start to finish.
