22.02.06 we went to the Isla del Sol with its Preinca and Inca Ruins. The Island itself feals more like a place in the mediteranean except you get the occasional Llama.
Copacabana is also a pilgrimage spot and people from as far as Argentina come to visit the Virgen de Copacabana. She has her own Chapel in the impressive Cathedral. The Cathedral is bigger than the town square next to it. during pilgrimage week itīs not unusual for people to walk all the way from La Paz. You can see plaques thanking the Virgin for forfilled wishes trailing the path of the 14 crosses to the mountain overlooking Copacabana.
